Engineering Notebooks

All parts of the engineering design process should be documented in the notebook. There are very specific rules for engineering notebooks since engineers often patent their ideas. In our case, we are proving to judges and other teams that our robots are our original designs.

Engineering notebooks will be turned in when you check in to a tournament for the judges to review. They will use the Design Award Rubric to determine who will be awarded the Design Award. This score is also used in determining the Excellence Award.

It is also a great idea to begin the notebook with introducing your team members.
